Kim Lyons

Kim Lyons is a native Californian who studied fine art at UCLA. After graduating, she moved to New York and studied jewelry design at F.I.T. Her first collection of bench craft jewelry was launched in 1996 when she and two other designers opened a little store on the Lower East Side, called FUSE.

Current collections are inspired from the treasure trove of beauty seen in astronomy, especially its luminous stars, and the fading nebula that forms into arcs, blobs and rings of dust.

Lately she’s been using new eco-friendly recycled materials like “recycled yellow silver”, and druzies, a 7 million year old stone formed in volcanoes, for her limited edition collections.
