Hand carved and cast in hypoallergenic eco-friendly top quality fine sterling silver, this necklace is my favorite of the versions. The Key to my Heart (the longer of the two), was inspired by real Victorian key from the mid 1800's. It spans 1.5" in length.

The wee key spans 1.25" long and has an amazing history. It was cast from an original brass key that opens a huge Victorian dollhouse from the 1850's. One day, long ago, a little girl used to wear it around her neck on a ribbon, unlocking her playhouse (in that period they typically looked like the little owner's real home). The cast silver replica really does open dollhouses by this artist, and I dream that someday I'll be able to unlock one with my necklace.

They hang together, spreading to show both charms at the same time while around your neck - hanging from 16" of beautiful Turn-of-the-Century inspired sterling silver book chain. Everything has been oxidized and repolished for maximum contrast and a glowing depth of color.
